iPod, Album, and Summer

Before I begin the main points of this post I would like to point out that I have indeed deleted The Rubber Band “album” and “page”. This is because I plan to redo the album by fixing and adding over dubs to songs, and re-release it in a better, more compact form, with less songs (unneeded songs) and actual track listings. Now, on to the main point of the post 😛

My Mono Project is finally finished! Whenever I finish uploading the videos to Youtube, and finish making the necessary pages, I will post a pretty picture for you all to click that will direct you to the “Liner Notes and Album”, also if you havent checked out my other “album” The Rocky Mountain Orchestra, please do. 😀 Also, Apple has finally had an update on iTouches and iPhones! I enjoy the background a lot! Its a great feature! My background is of a Shy Guy from Nintendo’s Mario Bros. field. 😛 The multitasking is cool, but I think I’ll hardly ever use it. They also included a better playlist view of every album, with info and album duration on the top with the album artwork 😀 Do you have an iTouch or iPhone? What do you think of the update? Well, so far summer has been pretty boring for me. I have been busy with songs and cleaning, and trying to push myself to start running regularly 😆 (i slack off when non of my friends are here to run with me). I don’t have anywhere to swim 😦 I want to go swimming realllyyy bad, but don’t wanna go to the public pool (:sick:). I think we’re going to my dad’s friends house this 4th of july, and he has an awesome pool! So I can go swimming there. 😛 Speaking of July, my Birthday is in two weeks! 😀 I so far have 1 thing I want for my Birthday:

1. Beatles Mono Box.

Yeah, thats it. lol I really don’t want anything else. I don’t know if I will get it though, my mother refuses to get it, and I haven’t heard from my Father. So I hope they get it! D: It will be okay if they don’t, i suppose, if I get a lot of $$$ for my B-day (i got $165 last year, and am proud to say i blew it all within the month) I can buy it myself. I think my list will drop to nothing next year. I am starting to get where I just don’t want anything lol. I’ll buy something if I want it. 😀

I have gotten into two new albums lately! One is Are You Experienced? by The Jimi Hendrix Experience,  my favorite track is “Seventh Stone From The Sun” :D, and Electric Arguments by The Fireman (Paul McCartney and Youth!). Both are very Psychedelic and great! I am using Electric Arguments as an example for my future works! 😀 You should check those albums out!

Like a Rolling Stone

Well, I have been gone for a week, and have forgotten to inform you all of this! I am terribly sorry about this, and we have had who is responsible for this mess up stoned and crucified.

While in Colorado I had decided to pick up my Mono Project and finish it. I am going to use some instruments that I’ve rarely used or never used at all, and try some new effects, so this might be an interesting turn in the project! 😀 Speaking of my Music, if you havent checked out my latest ”Album” then please do! It’s on the sidebar and on the ”My Music” Page 🙂

Lately I have been re-interested into vinyl records, and have been listening to the Bob Dylan Greatest Hits record. I am taking some notes on the songs, and will try and put them to use in my later works. 🙂 I have recently acquired two new vinyl records, George Harrison’s ”All Things Must Pass” and John Lennon’s “Double Fantasy” album. Both are basically brand new, which I am listening to side 3 of “All Things Must Pass” right now :D, and the Antique Shop where I got them is now one f my favorite stores now! 😆

Metroid and Creativity Boom!

Seeing as Summer is starting for me, and I live NO WHERE near any of my friends, or any town for that matter, I have had and will have a lot of time on my hands. I have so far used this time to create another album! Its only 12 tracks long, but it is the longest album I’ve ever made, and the most complex. It includes 3 mono tracks, and 9 other stereo songs, 1 stereo you’ve already heard, and 1 mono you have already heard, but their all in better quality! I have added a hiss track to make it less crappy, although I cannot guarantee that it will be perfect. Anyways, this album is 47:40 long, 10 minutes longer than my Grayscale album, although Grayscale is 2 tracks longer. Most of my newer tracks on the album are less complex stereo mixing wise, and this is due to the fact I am currently recording through a mono cord, and I have to do more work to mix the stereo, which I can’t be bothered to do 😆 So my more advanced ones are in Mono, but some of the stereo is really good too! This album is kinda like Sgt.Peppers, it has a fictional band, an orchestra i thought up to fit the picture I wasn’t willing to throw away. 😆 I think all of you will enjoy this album when i get it all set up on here. I hope. 😀 lol This is like the hey Jude of my works so far (although Hey Jude was a single, and not an album) but it’s a big advancement like Hey Jude, and its a more emotional album than any others I have made, so that makes it also like Hey Jude. :p

Enough of my ramblings, here is something you all can understand better. As of late, I have been getting into the old 8-bit Metroid game. I have it for Gameboy Advanced, and have gotten as for as Mother Brain, but its very very hard to beat her. lol I enjoy that game, but it pisses me off a lot.  xP

We had a car wash today for XC (cross country) and I got sunburned on my feet. Strange. lol

Song Inspiration

Ever wonder what inspires artists to make albums, or songs? Well usually it’s other songs/albums that inspire them, either that or rare instances where a song pops in their head while thinking. For example, Rubber Soul, by The Beatles, inspired Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys to create their greatest album, Pet Sounds, In which that album inspired The Beatles to make Sgt.Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.  My “albums” were also done like this, The Rubber Band was inspired by the attempted Get Back Sessions, and Opus IV was inspired by Revolver and many orchestration songs I have heard. My current album, which i wish to not tell much about it, is inspired by mostly songs, one Beatles album, and one Beach Boys album. Here are some songs that have inspired some songs im working on 😉
